Using   y our   T oaster  
1. Most   t ypes   o f   t he   b reads   c an   b e   t oasted.   H owever,   t he   s lice   s hould   n ot   b e   s o   s mall   a s   t o   d rop   i nto   t he  
bread   s lot.  
2. The   s lice   s hould   b e   p laced   i n   t he   c entre   o f   t he   s lot.  
3. After   i nserting   t he   b read   i nto   t he   s lots,   s elect   t he   d esigned   d arkness   s etting   ( toasting   t ime)   b y   t he  
bread   b rowning   l ever   a nd   p ress   t he   p ush   k nob   d own   u ntil   i t   l ocks.   T he   a uto-­‐adjusting   b read   g uides  
(located   i nside   t he   t oasting   s lots)   w ill   a utomatically   c entre   t he   b read   f or   e ven   b rowning.   A fter   t he  
designed   d arkness   s etting   i s   o ver,   t he   b read   w ill   p op   u p   a utomatically   a nd   t he   p ush   k nob   a nd   t he  
auto-­‐adjusting   b read   g uides   w ill   r eturn   t o   t heir   o riginal   p osition.

3. Never   u se   m etal   u tensils   t o   f ree   b read.    
4. Never   i nsert   y our   f inger   o r   m etallic   u tensils   i nto   t he   b read   s lots   o r   n et.  
 
 
 
3.   M AINTENANCE   &   C LEANING  
 
Before   c leaning   t he   a ppliance,   r emove   t he   p lug   f rom   t he   o utlet.  
To   a void   t he   r isk   o f   e lectric   s hock,   d o   n ot   c lean   t he   b ase   u nit   o r   t he   p ower   c ord   w ith   w ater,   a nd   d o  
not   i mmerse   t hem   i n   w ater.  
Clean   the   toaster   regularly.   This   appliance   contains   no   user   serviceable   parts   and   requires   little  
maintenance.   L eave   a ny   s ervicing   o r   r epair   t o   q ualified   p ersonnel.  
DO   N OT   I MMERSE   T HE   T OASTER   I N   W ATER.    
After  use  and  before  cleaning,  unplug  the  toaster  power  cord  from  the  power  outlet  and  wait  for  
the   t oaster   t o   c ool.  
 
Cleaning   t he   o utside   s urfaces:    
Unplug   t he   t oaster   a nd   a llow   i t   t o   c ool   c ompletely   b efore   c leaning.   T o   c lean,   w ipe   t he   e xterior   w ith  
a   slightly   dampened   soft   cloth   or   sponge   and   dry   with   a   cloth   or   paper   towel.   Do   not   use   strong  
cleaners   o r   a brasives   t hat   m ay   s cratch   s urface,   a nd   n ever   s pray   c leaners   d irectly   o nto   t he   t oaster.  
 
Cleaning   t op   s urface:  
Unplug   from   outlet   and   allow   cooling   before   cleaning.   Wipe   the   surface   on   the   top   of   the   bread  
slots   w ith   a   d amp   c loth   a nd   d ry   i t   w ith   a nother   c loth   o r   p aper   t owel.  
 
Cleaning   c rumb   t ray:  
The  removable  crumb  tray  is  located  at  the  bottom.  Grasp  the  handle  of  the  crumb  tray  and  pull  
out  completely.  Dispose  of  crumbs  and  wash  the  tray  in  hot,  sudsy  water.  Stubborn  spots  can  be  
removed  with  a  nylon  mesh  pad.  The  tray  is  not  safe  for  dishwasher.  Dry  the  tray  thoroughly  and  
naturally   b efore   r e-­‐inserting   i nto   i ts   s lot   i n   t he   t oaster.  
DO  NOT  use  metal  scouring  pads  for  cleaning.  Pieces  can  get  broken,  and  there  is  a  risk  of  electric  
shock   i f   t he   p ad   c omes   i n   c ontact   w ith   e lectrical   p arts.
