Before the first use, thoroughly wipe the hot plates of the waffle iron (1) with a wet cloth and then
dry them with a dry cloth.
Note! Before cleaning, make sure that the device is unplugged!
1. Grease the hot plates (1) with butter, margarine or other food fat.
2. Plug the device - two control lights are turned on:
■ red - turned on all the time; signalling the connection with the power grid
■ green - turns on and off; signalling that the thermostat is operating
Close the upper cover (3) and prepare the ingredients for baking.
3. The waffle iron warms up for about 3-6 minutes, then the green control light turns off.
4. Open the upper cover (3), put the dough on the lower hot plate (1) and gently close the cover.
5. When closing and opening the cover, pay attention to hot steam getting out at the sides of the hot
plates.
6. In the middle of baking cycle, slightly open the upper cover (3) of the waffle iron in order to
evaporate the excess of steam (for about 3 seconds).
7. The waffles are ready after 5-7 minutes of baking.
8. Open the upper cover (3) and remove waffles using plastic or wooden spatula only.
Note! Do not use metal cutlery because it may damage the surface of the hot plates!
9. After using, always remove the plug from the power outlet and leave the device until it complete-
ly cools down.
1. Before cleaning (and after finishing baking) unplug the device and wait until it completely cools
down.
2. Thoroughly clean the hot plates (1) with a soft cloth or towel.
3. Wipe the external surface of the waffle iron with a wet cloth.
Note! Do not immerse the device in water or other liquids! Do not wipe the inside of the device
with rough, abrasive cloth or sponges as this may damage the hot plates!
