Changing Coin Mechanism on D1, ED1, and MT1
series Vendors - Instruction Sheet
Tools required:
Philips head screwdriver
Needle nose pliers
Instructions
1. Remove weights and remove product from the
dispenser.
2. Remove the four screws (Figure 1, A) from the front of
the Dual 1 module.
3. Remove module from the machine.
4. With needle-nose pliers, unscrew the two nuts (Figure
2, B) from the carriage bolts.
5. Remove the coin mechanisms from the module.
6. The napkin rotor and tampon rotor may fall out when
the coin mechanisms are removed. Simply slide them
back into place, making sure that the square end is in
front (Figure 3) and the teeth are on the left side. The
napkin box should sit flat on the napkin rotor, and the
tampon tube should fit into the tampon rotor.
7. Position the new coin mechanisms into place. The
square end of each rotor will fit into the mechanism.
8. Replace the carriage bolts and make sure they are
flush with the front of the coin mechanism. Screw the
securing nuts back on, and tighten with needle-nose
pliers. Once complete, your module should appear like
Figure 4.
9. Replace the coin module in the machine with the
sanitary napkin mechanism on the left and the tampon
mechanism on the right. Make sure that the napkin
channel flap inside the dispenser is positioned to the
left of the module divider and does not overlap the
divider.
10. Insert top right screw first and lightly tighten, then
bottom left and lightly tighten to align the module.
Insert final two screws and then tighten all four.
11. Reload machine with product and weights.
12. Test by dispensing each product to make sure the
mechanism works.
