Using the speaker in a vehicle
The Speaker is configured for optimal audio performance when placed on a visor using the carry
case with clip. Insert the Speaker into the carry case, clip the case to your vehicle's sun visor directly
above your face and make sure the microphone is pointed towards your mouth. Always remove the
speaker from the visor when charging.
Wearing the speaker
You can wear the Speaker on your belt or other convenient location using the carry case with belt
clip. You can also wear the Speaker around your neck using the lanyard.
Using the speaker as a headset
Refer to figure 4 on page 1.
You can connect a regular headset to the Speaker for private communication.
Pairing your speaker and phone
You must pair your speaker and phone before you can make a call.
Pairing
With the speaker and phone in close proximity:
Step 1:
Press the volume button once to put the speaker into pairing mode.
The speaker LED will illuminate.
Step 2:
Perform a device discovery (or scan) from the phone. For details about device
discovery consult your phone's user guide.
Step 3:
Select the Motorola speaker in the list of discovered devices and confirm by
following the on-screen prompts.
Step4:
When requested by the phone, enter the passkey 0000 and confirm.
Paired link to additional devices
Your speaker can store pairing information for up to eight different devices equipped with Bluetooth
wireless technology. Devices are stored in a "Paired Device List" in memory in chronological order.
When an attempt to pair to more than eight devices is made, the oldest paired device is removed
from the list.
