6. Cleaning

1. Remove the connecting tube and the nose tip, then take apart
the Colibri head.
2. Wash the collared tube, the nose tip, and the Colibri housing in
lukewarm water and dishwashing detergent and let them dry.
Use the brush for cleaning the nose tip.
3. Clean the housing with a dry, soft cloth; do not use any liquids,
detergents, or chemicals.
4. Wipe the connecting tube with a cloth if necessary.

WARNING
Turn the device off and grasp the plug to unplug
the power cord from the electrical outlet when
assembling, disassembling, and cleaning the

Do not wash the device housing or the power
cord in water or any other liquid. Do not handle
the power cord with wet hands. This may cause
electric shock or malfunction.

Do not wash the connecting tube.

CAUTION
Thoroughly clean the Colibri head after use.
Make sure that all parts are clean and dried
thoroughly before use.

If liquid gets into the connecting tube due to
improper use, make sure that it is completely dry
before using it again.
Do not remove the mounting screws from the
housing. Do not reconstruct the device for other

purposes.
To avoid damage, make sure the device is not
exposed to heat.
It is not allowed to use a dishwasher, boiling
water, microwave oven, vaporizer, or baby bottle
sterilizer for cleaning the spare parts, because
they might deform by heat!
Do not use any liquids, detergents or chemi-
cals for cleaning the device housing and the
connecting tube.
