CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

Remember to always clean your Burr Grinder before using it for the first time.
Then, to ensure optimal function and durability, clean it regularly following
these simple steps:
1. Always unplug your Burr Grinder after use and before cleaning.
2. Remove Grind Chamber by pulling it out of the unit.
3. Remove Bean Hopper Lid and Protective Burr Cover. To remove the
Protective Burr Cover, twist the knob located inside the Bean Hopper
counterclockwise to unlock (towards the unlock symbol), then pull cover
out.
4. Clean the Bean Hopper with a damp cloth or paper towel. Do not immerse
or run water to clean.
5. Wash Bean Hopper Lid, Protective Burr Cover, Grind Chamber and Lid
with warm soapy water.
CAUTION! Never use abrasive cleaners, steel wool pads, or other abrasive
materials. Unit is not dishwasher safe.
6. The upper burr inside the bean Hopper is removable to help you clean
and remove any coffee beans or foreign objects that might get stuck
between the burrs. To remove, make sure the Protective Burr Cover has
been removed. Then, twist the grip area on the top burr clockwise. Pull
upper burr out and use a brush to clean it.
7. Dry all pieces thoroughly.
8. Place Lid back on Grind Chamber and then install into unit by pushing to
lock into place.
9. Insert top burr in the Bean Hopper and lock into place by twisting the grip
area counterclockwise.
10. Place Protective Burr Cover and lock by turning knob located inside the
Bean Hopper clockwise (towards the lock symbol). Place the Bean Hopper
Lid.
