Blade disc cooling:
The cutter has two disc cooling systems.
- An external one by connecting an outside water hose to the fitting on the disc guard. This is the most
recommendable system.
- An internal one by means of a water deposit integrated in the machine. With this system we must frequently
refill the water tank. The water flow to cool the disc is regulated by a disc located between the guard and the
deposit.
Never operate without water as this could result in malfunctioning and very serious damage to the disc
because of lack of cooling.
Cutting correction:
In the event that the disc deviates from the line drawn for the cut, gradually turn the machine back on the line
without forcing it in order to prevent the disc from being damaged.
Ending the cut:
When the cut is finished, lift the machine until the disc is out of the groove, close the water cock and avoid
leaving the disc running idle.
10. MAINTENANCE
10.1. MAINTENANCE
Proper maintenance is essential for correct operation.
Check the condition of the cutting disc. Replace the disc if there is any fault in the cutting strip or the notches.
Periodically check the tightening of the cutting disc adjustment nut. Any gap must be repaired.
Immediately replace the disc for a new one in the event of warping.
Any element in the machine that has undergone wear must be replaced for a new one with the same
specifications. Use original parts only.
Periodically check the machine for nuts and bolt tightness.
Engine:
Carefully read and follow the instructions in the engine maintenance book.
Belts:
Periodically check the condition and the tightness of the belts and the alignment of the pulleys. Periodical
checks should be made in intervals not greater than 15-20 days.
