1.
Remove the ironing machine from its packing and make sure all packing parts have been taken off (including
the protection bags). Lay the machine on a flat and steady surface fitted to support it next to a wall socket
(max. mt. 1,5).
2.
Unscrew the safety cap (1) and let the internal air out. Fill the boiler with max. 2,0 litres of water, use the
funnel supplied, making sure you do not overfill the tank. Close the safety cap (1).
3.
Plug the machine in; press the boiler (3) and steam switch (4) to turn them on.
4.
Wait that the boiler switch (3) goes off (it takes about 10 minutes). While ironing, the same light might come
on again.
5.
The machine is ready for use.
6.
Push the steam button of the accessory used to obtain steam.
7.
It is possible to regulate the quantity of steam by turning the steam knob (6).
8.
In case the steam stops and the low water light indicator (5) comes on, it means that there is not enough
water in the tank. To start working again, turn the boiler switch (3) and the steam switch (4) off; open slowly
the pressure cap (1), to ensure there is no more steam in the boiler, unplug the machine and after a couple of
minutes refill the boiler with possibly warm water.
9.
When you first press the steam button you might notice a decrease in pressure. In order to have plenty of
steam, wait till the boiler switch indicator light (3) goes off.
10.
It is possible to check at any time the inner pressure level of the boiler by means of the pressure gauge (2) –
only for the model PS09/D.

Special instructions for using the PS09N together with the kit for Jewellers or dentists PG036/11
1.
Plug the power cord into a 230V socket
2.
Insert the metal steam pipe and the foot pedal
3.
Place the foot pedal on the floor so that it rests conveniently on a flat surface.
4.
To make steam, wait until the "ready" light comes on for the first time.
approximately three to five seconds.
5.
In normal use the steam will always be available. However, for long or extended steam outputs the pressure and
volume will decrease and, in some cases the unit may require a few moments for the chamber to be brought back
to "ready" temperature.
CAUTION
During normal operation some steam may escape from the nozzle when not being used. This is just small
-
amounts of water left in the chamber turning to steam.
After releasing foot pedal, this unit will continue to steam for approximately 15 seconds. This is normal operation
-
Do not touch the steam nozzle assembly during use or until it cools after use. You may burn yourself even if the
-
machine is unplugged.
The steam nozzle must be kept always clean; if it gets partially clogged remove when cool and clean thoroughly
-
Do not leave the machine unattended while the plug is connected to the socket.
-
For complete safety, before filling the boiler, please disconnect the plug.
-
While using the machine, never unscrew or remove the cap (1) while under pressure. Before removing it, make
-
sure that there's no more steam by releasing it all out from the accessory used.
The machine has a special safety system. Only qualified technician should replace it.
-
The safety cap (1) must be replaced with original parts only.
