Filter regulator is used to remove both solid and liquid imputities from the air and to regulate the output pressure to the required
value which obviously cannot exceed the network pressure (d).
Filter regulator can be regulated carring out the following operations on the control knob (i):
1) disconnect the knob (i) pulling it;
2) turn it either clockwise or anti-clockwise;
3) block the knob (i) pushing it. Air flow must follow the direction indicated by the arrow (f).
When the bowl (b) is filled with condensate or impurities and level reaches the top (g) it's necessary to drain the bowl itself (b).
The bowl can be drained with a manual or semi-automatic procedure.
Manual draining.
To drain the condensate turn anti-clockwise the knob (c) pushing it upwards. Once the draining operation is over, pull the knob
downwards turning it clockwise.
Semi-automatic draining.
The knob drains the condensate whenever pressure is missing. The condensate can be drained even when there is pressure, by
pushing the knob upwards (c).
To change from manual to semi-automatic position, turn the knob in the anti-clockwise sense. To change from semi-automatic to
manual position, turn the knob in the clockwise sense, keeping it downwards..
Perform the following operations to replace or clean the filtering element (a):
1) stop the air flow (d)>(e) and remove pressure in the bowl (b);
2) unscrew th bowl (b);
3) unscrew the still zone screen (h) clean or remove the filtering element (a);
4) screw the bowl (b);
5) blow the air flow inside (d) >(e) putting the bowl under pressure..
