To swivel the light on the stand, first loosen the
blocking screw (9) by turning it anti-clockwise.
Then put the light in the desired position (fig. D)
and tighten the blocking screw (9) again.
The height of the desktop stand can be adjusted
steplessly on the telescopic pole (12). To do this,
hold the light with one hand and loosen the twist
lock (14) by turning it anti-clockwise. Then put the
light in the desired height position (fig. E) and tight-
en the twist lock (14) again.
Note: The light can also be mounted on other suit-
able stands and brackets with 16 mm (5/8") stan-
dard pin.
The standard pin (11) of the desktop stand can be
removed; there is a 3/8" connection thread (15)
with lock nut (16) located underneath (fig. F).
Therefore, the desktop stand can be used for
lightweight, compact lighting units and acces-
sories with a 16 mm (5/8") standard socket, as well
as for suitable lighting units and accessories with
a 3/8" connection thread.
After each modification of the light's position,
check the secure stand and the firm connec-
tion of all parts. In particular, the lock nut (16)
and, if applicable, the standard pin (11) should
always be threaded downwards as far as pos-
sible to ensure a secure hold of the light.
5. Initial operation
Check that the mains voltage corresponds to the
operating voltage given on the light.
Take care that the light is switched off: the switch
(3) has to be in the "O" position. Then put the plug
of the mains lead (17) into the socket (7) at the
back of the lighting unit (fig. G) and the mains plug
into a mains socket.
Push the switch (3) in the "I" position.
The brightness can be adjusted continuously by
rotating the control dial (6) (0 to 100 %).
The color temperature can be adjusted continu-
ously by rotating the control dial (2) (3200 Kelvin
(artificial light) to 5600 Kelvin (daylight)).
Put the switch (3) in the "O" position, when the
light is not in use and pull the plug out of the sock-
et.
The light is suitable for continuous operation.
6. Maintenance and care
The light is maintenance-free. Make sure that the
illuminated area (10) is free of stains and dirt. If
necessary remove these before operation.
Clean the light with a soft dry cloth. On no account
use petrol or other solvents.
