Using the microphone

Please note that this is a cardioid pattern microphone, which means it only records audio
signals coming from one specific direction.
This direction is indicated by the
symbol on the casing. For optimal recording results,
please make sure this direction faces towards the audio signal.

Normal use

We recommend that your mouth is no more than 20-30cm away from the microphone.
As everyones' voice is different you should experiment to find the best location and
performance set-up.
Near field use
Where you are singing, or giving commentary, the microphone should be 10 - 40cm from
your mouth and directly in front of you.
We also recommend that you use the foam windscreen to dampen pop sounds.
Please keep the microphone away from any audio source to avoid any other interference.
NOTES:
- To activate the mute function, press the button and the LED light will turn Red to show
it is active.
- To deactivate the mute function, press the mute button again and the LED light will
switch off.
