The air filter element and filter
container may contain
Polycyclic Aromatic
Hydrocarbons (PAHs). Some
PAHs may cause cancer. To
avoid exposure to PAHs, wear
gloves when performing air
filter maintenance.

3. Remove the coarse filter
element and the fine filter
element.

5. Cleaning the filter elements:
gently tap the filter elements to
remove loose debris. Do not
clean the paper filter elements
with brushes, compressed air,
etc. Filters that are heavily
soiled with dirt need to be
replaced with new elements.
6. Place the filter elements into
the filter body.
7. With the debris valve pointing
downward, place the air filter
cover onto the filter body. Snap
the retaining clips into the
locked position.
NOTE: The debris valve on the
filter cover must point downward.
