CLEANING
Clean the diffuser after every 5-6 uses or every 2-3 days. Do this as follows:
- Disconnect the diffuser from the electricity net and remove the outer cover.
- Pour away any remaining water from the discharge side of the reservoir.
- Disconnect the cable from the base of the diffuser.
- Add 1 tablespoon of citric acid to the reservoir and fill up with just less than 140 ml of warm
water (max. 70°C).
- Allow to soak for about five minutes and then pour the fluid away from the discharge side of
the reservoir.
- Wipe clean with a soft cloth. Avoid contact with the ultrasonic vibration plate, which needs to
be cleaned separately and carefully with a cotton swab.
Never use other acids, enzymes or detergents. This can create poisonous gases, as well
as damaging the diffuser.
The outer cover is fitted with an inner cover, which can also be removed during cleaning.
1. Pull on the handle to detach the inner cover, as shown in the diagram.
2. Replace the inner cover after cleaning, by pressing down on both the inner and outer cover
until you hear a click.

PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES
Follow the recommended measures below to avoid defects to your diffuser:
- Never exceed the maximum filling level of the water reservoir (100 ml).
- Never turn the diffuser on if the water reservoir is empty.
- Never touch the ultrasonic vibration plate.
- Clean the diffuser regularly in accordance with the cleaning instructions.
- Always disconnect the diffuser during maintenance.
- For hygienic reasons, always pour away any remaining water after use via the discharge side of
the reservoir and then wipe down the diffuser with a clean, dry cloth.
- Essential oils can cause staining. In the event of spillage or contact with the skin, wipe away the
oil with a clean, dry cloth.
- Always use the measuring cup when filling the reservoir. Never fill directly from the tap.
- Do not let the mist be diffused directly onto furniture, clothes, walls, etc.
- Keep the diffuser away from sources of heat, air-conditioners, ventilators, etc.
- Always place the diffuser on a flat and stable surface and not on a carpet, bed or any other
unstable surface.
- Position the diffuser sufficiently far away from electrical appliances like TVs and hi-fis.
- Do not tilt or set the diffuser at an angle, to avoid damage to the mechanism by seeping water.
- Do not use the diffuser for over-long periods. If this happens, the diffuser will switch itself off
automatically. Wait 1 hour before turning it back on again, to avoid damage to the ultrasonic
plate.
- Only use tap water, not mineral water or sparkling water.
- The amount and intensity of the mist produced by the diffuser can vary, depending on factors
like the type of water, the temperature and the flow of air. This is not unusual and cannot be
regarded as a defect.
- Never move the diffuser while it is in use.
- Never touch any part of the diffuser with wet hands.
- Keep the diffuser out of the reach of children and animals. Do not let children play with the
diffuser. Do not allow the diffuser to be used by children, people with a physical, sensory or
mental limitation or people with no knowledge and experience of the appliance.
- Do not run the cable across the floor and do not pull on the cable.
- In the event of smoke or a burning smell coming from the diffuser, immediately remove the plug
of the AC adapter from the electric socket.
