Starting the apparatus:
1. First, turn the humidity control switch to the OFF position.
2. Connect the appliance to the mains electricity supply.
3. Turn the humidity control switch clockwise. The humidity indicator display will light up.
4. Using the humidity control switch, select the desired ambient humidity level (generally 60%).
After three minutes the green unit working display will be illuminated.
Disconnecting the apparatus :
1. Turn the control switch anti-clockwise to the OFF position. The green unit working display
will turn off.
2. If the apparatus is unused for long periods, we advise that it be disconnected from the
mains electricity supply .

SPECIAL CHARACTERISTICS

1. Automatic function: (40%-90%HR). The humidity indicator display shows the humidity
present in the room. If the relative humidity (RH) is lower than 60%, the green indicator is lit. If
the RH is above 60% the red indicator is lit. When the red indicator is lit the dehumidifier will
operate until the required humidity level is reached.
If the humidity selected is higher than the relative humidity in the room the dehumidifier will not
operate.
Continuous function (cont.): If the user selects this operation the dehumidifier will operate
permanently, whatever the level of humidity is in the room.
2. If the appliance suffers any abnormal change in power supply (power surges) or its operation
is affected for any other reason, the unit will automatically disconnect for two minutes,
reconnecting after this time has elapsed. This operation is carried out to protect the compressor,
given that any abrupt changes can severely damage the unit.
3. The unit is provided with an easily removable air filter, to purify and regenerate the humid air
in the room. (figure 3).
4. The normal working temperature range is 5 – 35ºC. It is advised that the apparatus
should not be operated outside of this temperature range.
Note: The defrost function is carried out automatically by the apparatus. This will activate if the
ambient temperature is below 15ºC, approximately. When this function operates, the defrost
display panel is illuminated.
5. When the unit disconnects from the mains supply, wait three minutes before reconnecting
in order to avoid damaging the compressor.
6. When the dehumidifier is operating, it heats up and this may affect the ambient tempe-
rature of the room.
WATER REMOVAL
- Removing water from the deposit.
1. The red level indicator illuminates when the water deposit is full (the compressor and the
ventilator will stop).
