SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
•
Ensure to only connect the appliance to sockets with the appropriate voltage.
•
Do not leave the appliance unattended while it is plugged in. Unplug the
appliance from the socket after each use.
•
Children from the age of 8 as well as physically, sensory and mentally impaired
persons may only use the appliance if they have been familiarised by a
responsible person with its functions and understand the safety precautions
in place as well as any associated risks.
•
Make sure that children do not play with the appliance.
•
Do not expose the appliance to rain or direct sunlight.
•
Make sure that the power cord does not come into contact with hot surfaces.
•
Do not immerse the appliance, plug or power cord in water or other liquids.
•
Do not touch any moving parts during operation.
•
Place the appliance on a level, stable surface.
•
The appliance only works when the cup is in the correct position.
•
Keep your hands and cooking utensils away from the blender jug during
operation to prevent personal injury and damage to the appliance. To avoid
damaging it, do not use sharp cooking utensils or sharp metal objects in the
blender jug. Once the appliance is switched off, you can remove the contents
of the blender jug with rubber or wooden utensils.
•
Do not use the appliance with an empty blender jug.
•
Do not add ingredients while the appliance is in operation.
•
Do not use the appliance if defective.
•
Never put hard food (such as fruit) in the blender jug.
•
Fill the cup and place it in position first before inserting the plug.
•
As the volume increases during blending for certain liquids (e.g. milkshakes),
only fill the beaker to the MAX mark.
•
Do not mix hot ingredients.
•
Do not mix for more than 3 minutes at a time. Then switch the unit off (0) for 1
minute before continuing to use it.
•
After using the appliance 2-3 times in a row, switch it off and let it cool down
for 10-15 minutes.
•
Switch off and unplug the appliance before moving the cup.
•
Always unplug the appliance when not in use and when cleaning, assembling
or removing accessories.
•
Do not pull the plug out of the socket by the cable and always hold it with your
hand.
•
Do not use the appliance if the plug or the power cord is damaged or if the
appliance is malfunctioning. Have the appliance checked by a specialist.
•
If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or a
qualified service technician to prevent electric shock and injury.
•
The appliance is intended for use in the home and similar environments only.
It is not intended for commercial use.
