■ Do not place food that is still wrapped in
cling film or plastic bags into the device.
■ Make sure that the food does not come
into contact with the heating element of
the device.
■ Fill the basket insert no more than ⅔ full
so that the hot air can circulate optimally.
■ Make sure that foodstuffs containing oil
and fats are not overheated. They could
ignite.
■ If smoke rises from the device, pull out
the mains plug immediately. One excep-
tion is the first time the device is used
without any food (see the "Before Initial
Use" chapter).
■ Always place the drawer down on a
stable surface before the release button
of the basket insert is pressed.
■ Always place the hot drawer and the hot
basket insert down on a heat-resistant
surface after use.
PROGRAMMES
To make it easier to use, the device has
7 programmes which each have a preset
cooking time and temperature:
"Chips" programme
Temperature: 200°C
Cooking time: 18 minutes
"Roast" programme
Temperature: 175°C
Cooking time: 25 minutes
"Shrimps" programme
Temperature: 165°C
Cooking time: 8 minutes
"Baking" programme
Temperature: 155°C
Cooking time: 30 minutes
"Poultry" programme
Temperature: 180°C
Cooking time: 20 minutes

"Fish" programme
Temperature: 175°C

The times and temperatures which
are set for the programmes are
merely suggestions. They should be
manually adjusted if necessary to
ensure that the food (in particular
poultry) is fully cooked.
REMOVING THE BASKET INSERT
1. Pull the drawer (5) out of the main
unit (1) and place it down.
2. Slide the transparent cover (7) away
from the release button (4) (Picture C).
3. Press the release button and pull the
basket insert (8) up out of the drawer.
INSERTING THE BASKET INSERT
1. Place the basket insert (8) in the draw-
er (5) and press it down until you hear it
engage.
2. Slide the cover (7) over the release
button (4).
3. Slide the drawer into the main unit (1).
PREPARING THE FOOD
1. Place the food that is to be prepared into
the basket insert (8).
2. Insert the basket insert into the draw-
er (5).
3. Slide the drawer as far as it will go into
the main unit (1).
4. Connect the device to a plug socket. The
control panel (2) is activated and the
field
(14) lights up.
5. Touch the field
of the fields on the control panel.
The display (13) alternates between
cooking time in minutes and cooking
to switch on the rest
