2 Description and function
2.1 Product
The product is an HDMI™ signal amplifier for extending an
HDMI™ connection. The signal amplifier is powered via the
HDMI™ connections. Item 58492 can additionally be po-
wered via the micro USB connector for use as an active si-
gnal amplifier.

3 Intended use
This product is intended exclusively for private
use and its intended purpose. This product is not
intended for commercial use. We do not permit
using the device in other ways like described in chapter
„Description and Function" or in the „Safety Instructions".
Use the product only in dry interior rooms. Not attending to
these regulations and safety instructions might cause fatal
accidents, injuries, and damages to persons and property.
4 Preparation
1. Check the scope of delivery for completeness and in-
tegrity.
2. Compare the specifications of all used devices and en-
sure compatibility.
5 Connection and operation
See Fig. 2.
1. Connect a source device to the HDMI™ socket (input)
(1) of the repeater.
2. Connect an output device to the HDMI™ socket (output)
(2) of the repeater.
Connection cables are not included in the scope of delive-
ry. Make sure that the source and output devices as well
as the connection cables support the resolutions and stan-
dards of the product! Observe the maximum transmission
distances and resolutions.
Item 58492 has a micro USB socket (4) that allows you to
connect an additional power source (5 V
the item as an active signal amplifier and improve perfor-
mance. The use of an additional power source is recom-
mended. When power is supplied to the signal amplifier,
the LED status indicator (3) lights up blue.
A charging adapter is not included in the scope of delivery.
6 Maintenance, Care, Storage and
Transportation
The product is maintenance-free.

7 Disposal instructions

on the product, in the user manual, or at the packaging all-

plication, and waste disposal of used devices you achieve

2 Description et fonction
2.1 Produit
Le produit est un amplificateur de signal HDMI™ permet-
tant d'étendre une connexion HDMI™. L'amplificateur de
signal est alimenté par les connexions HDMI™. L'article
58492 peut en outre être alimenté via le connecteur micro
USB pour être utilisé comme amplificateur de signal actif.
