The device runs two separate testing procedures:
1. Start-up testing – when the device is switched on it checks the status of the module and the
internal connections before powering the motor control relay The system takes 3 seconds to run
this control.
2. Run-time testing – during operation, the device monitors the operating conditions when the relay is
powered, as well as the battery charge.
3. Reversal time-out: the system checks the correct signal during the reversal between one speed and
another. The minimum reversal time is 1.2 seconds.
In the event that the controller detects alarm conditions, an error code is generated which is displayed
using the LED on the front of the device, and winch operation is prevented.
