· Wipe off the housing with a soft, if needed slightly moistened cloth and dry it off thoroughly.
· Clean the mixing rod with the whisk only with warm water and a mild detergent.
· The milk frother is now ready to use.
Changing the batteries
· Open the battery compartment.
· Insert 2 batteries (Type 1.5 V AA) into the battery compartment, respecting the +/- markings. Note: cilio recommends
the use of alkaline batteries to prolong the running time.

· Now immerse the mixing rod as far as possible into the milk. The whisk should not touch the bottom and the housing
must not be immersed into the milk.
· Press and hold the on/off switch or slide the switch all the way down until it clicks into place. Move the milk frother in
slow circles at the edge from bottom to top until the milk achieves the desired consistency (approx. 20 seconds).
· Switch off the milk frother by releasing the on/off switch or by sliding it back up, before you lift it out of the milk foam.
Risk of splashes!
· Attention: Do not bend or straighten the mixing rod in order to avoid impairing the function or damaging the device.
· Now you can use the creamy milk foam to prepare your coffee delicacies.
Tips and Tricks
· For hot coffee specialties use warm milk (approx. 60°C).
· You can use fresh milk with different amounts of fat, oat milk, soy milk, goat milk and sheep milk or milk powder with
water for frothing.
· The consistency of the milk foam may vary depending on the type of milk, fat content or foaming temperature.
· For milkshakes or cold coffee delicacies, the milk should be refrigerator cold.
Cleaning
· Clean the mixing rod with the whisk immediately after use.
· Immerse the functional part (rod and whisk) in warm water (detergent, if necessary) and switch on the device. Then
rinse with clear water and dry off completely.
· Attention: The mixing rod is permanently attached to the handle and cannot be removed.
· Clean the housing with a dry or lightly dampened cloth only. Never immerse the housing in water or other liquids and
do not clean the milk frother in the dishwasher.
