• Never open the lid of the jug while the blender is working.
• Clean the jug of the blender after every use as described in
"Cleaning".
• The blender must work with at least 300 ml of liquid. Do not fill the
blender with a quantity of liquid in excess of the "MAX" mark of 1,500 ml.
• Always cut the solid ingredients into small pieces before adding
them to the jug to prevent the blades from getting stuck. If using
solid and liquid ingredients at the same time, first add the liquid
ingredients to the jug and blend them. Then, add the chopped, solid
ingredients, and carry on with the blending process. To obtain the
blending process, take a few seconds to do the following.
• Place the blender jug on the motor base as described in "Assembly
of the blender".
• Make sure that the speed control is set at "0".
• Fill the jug with the required ingredients.
• Cover the jug with the lid.
• Connect the blender to a properly installed socket.
• To start the blending process, raise the speed control slowly, until
you reach the required speed.
• To stop blending, turn the speed control to level "0".
• Wait until the blades have stopped completely before removing the
safety lid.
E/ Refilling ingredients
• Other ingredients can be added during the blending process.
• Remove the measuring jug, by turning it clockwise and lifting it
up. This will allow access to the filler neck for adding the ingredient
without having to open the lid.
F/ Crushing ice cubes
1. Fill the blender jug with ice cubes. Do not crush more than
10 to 12 ice cubes at the same time.
2. Make sure that the ice cube is no longer than 2.5 cm.
You get better results by crushing a few ice cubes at a time.
3. Close the blender jug with the lid and the lid accessory
(see the "Assembly of the blender" section).
4. Set the speed control to level "0" and connect the blender
to a properly installed socket.
