Product usage
Before first use
•
Use a damp cloth and if necessary, some mild washing-up liquid, to clean the unit's
surface. Dry it afterwards ( Cleaning and maintenance).
Use
Battery operation
Remove the battery compartment cover.
A 3 V
CR2032-type lithium button-cell battery is pre-installed inside the compartment.
Remove the battery contact isolation tab.
Reinsert the battery compartment cover until it clicks into place.
Turn the unit over and place it on a flat, solid surface. Make sure there are no objects
underneath it.
The unit is now ready for use.
CAUTION
• Remove the battery whenever the unit will not be used
for a long period of time, as any battery leaks could
damage it.
• When the battery level is low,
display. Immediately replace the battery with one of
the same type while observing the polarity indicated on
both the battery and inside the battery compartment.
Weighing
Gently step onto the scales. The scales will turn on automatically.
Remain still during the weighing process until the weight reading appears and stabilises
on the display.
