Thank you for choosing the WZG fence energiser. Read these instructions carefully before installing the device.
1. Contents of the delivery

Additionally you will need:
- Screwdriver with a PZ2- tip.
- Earthing rods and connection cables for them
- The fence itself with required accessories
- WZG Digi Tester of WZG Super Tester to test the function of the fence
2. Safety
The authorities have defined safety regulations for electric fencing. They must be always followed. The regulations are
found at the end of this guide. Please read them carefully!
Never work on the fence when the energiser is connected to the mains power.
The animals have to be taught to respect the fence. Electric fences depend on the ability of the animal to remember. The
animal remembers the shock and learns to respect the fence.
Electric fences must be supervised regularly.
All WZG fence energiser fulfill the safety regulations that are defined for fence energisers. However, an electric fence is
never totally harmless. An animal that is trapped in electric fence wires can be in danger of life. The electric shock given
by the fence can be dangerous for small children or persons suffering from heart problems.
3. Quick instructions
Install the energiser with screws on a vertical surface so that the wire connectors are at the lower end of the device.
Never install the energiser upside down!
Install the device close to a mains connection e.g. on the wall of a building. Place the device inaccessible to the animals.
There is drilling form for the mounting holes on the back of the packaging. You can use it to position the mounting holes
easily.
Never connect wires to the energiser when the mains cable is connected!
Connect the fence connector wire to the red connector marked with lightning symbol and connect the earthing wire
to the black connector marked with . Push the colored connector button firmly down and insert the stripped wire from
below into the connector jaw. Energisers with screw connectors: Insert the cable, tighten the screws to achieve a good
electrical connection. Turn the device on by connecting the mains power.
Do not use an extension cord outdoors!
4. Connecting the energiser to the fence
Connect the energiser to the fence wire with the fence connector wire that is included in the delivery. Connect the
connector wire to the fence wire and tighten the screws properly to ensure a good electrical connection. Connect the
other end of the fence connector wire to the red connector marked with a lightning symbol.
WZG 100:
For connecting the fence connector screw open the red connector button and insert the stripped cable between the screw
and its base, tighten the screw to ensure a good electrical connection. Install the earthing wire to the black earthing
connector in the same way.
