USE
Choose the appropriate reset spindle. Reset spindle (RH) for resetting by turning clockwise or reset
spindle (LH) for resetting by turning counter-clockwise.
Push the sliding T-bar fully
aside and the adapter
plate over the spindle until
it reaches the bottom end
of the spindle nut.
Turn the spindle nut until the wind-back tool fits in between the
brake piston and the caliper's framing.
When applying the tool, check that the drive piston fits into the
brake piston or respectively, that the tractor margin fits onto the
brake piston exactly. If this is the case, you may start turning
the spindle nut counter-clockwise, tempering the spindle a
little. This way you avoid an unintended disengaging when
winding back the brake piston.
Wind back the brake piston by turning the spindle.
Caution: If winding back demands a very high effort, check
whether the wind-back tool is applied properly and the
choosing of the correct reset spindle (RH or LH).
Turning the spindle nut releases the tempered wind-back tool.
You can take it out of the brake caliper now.
Note: You might want to use a hex. wrench to loosen the
spindle nut and release the wind-back tool conveniently.
