HOW TO USE
The instrument has only one turn signal indicator
for both sides. If there is no such signal available
from the vehicle wiring harness, two diodes (see
scope of delivery) or WW 19‑619 or 19‑641 must be
used for this purpose, when connecting to the turn
signal circuits.

To extend the wires, please use 0.25 mm2 wires
(min. AWG 23).
Notes on Sensors
Please always follow the instructions for the res‑
pective sensors.
Active or Hall sensors for connection to the instru‑
ment must be suitable for 12 V.
Active or Hall sensors detect e.g. screw heads or
pinion teeth made of normal steel. Stainless steel
screws or aluminum teeth are not detected. The
distance to the screw head or tooth should be 1‑2
mm. Active sensors also can be triggered by mag‑
nets. Please note the polarity of the magnets! The
magnets must be mounted in such a way that the
sensors attract them. With strong magnets (e.g.
neodymium), the distance can be larger.
Passive or so‑called reed sensors are voltage‑
independent and only work with magnets. These
actuate an internal switch in the sensor, the switch
switches to minus (ground).

When attaching magnets, please ensure that they
are not embedded in magnetizable materials or
are in the immediate vicinity of such materials.
Example: Drilling a screw head and gluing in a ma‑
gnet does not work with screws made of normal
steel, but only in screws made of austenitic steel
(commonly referred to as stainless steel) or alumi‑
num. Magnets are glued ONTO the surface of the
pulley or brake disc, not embedded flush in it. The
signal of a sensor can be distorted by such errors,
a reliable speed indication is then not possible.
No matter what is used to control the sensor, ple‑
ase make sure that the screws or magnets are
evenly distributed around the circumference. An
uneven distribution also distorts the speed signal.
Set-up of the Instrument
When the instrument is readily connected, recon‑
nect the battery and switch on the ignition. The
instrument will then perform a self‑test and is then
ready for setting. Without any setting, most func‑
tions are not usable, there's even no display of the
vehicle speed.
The menu in the LCD‑display can be changed from
German to English. Other menu languages are not
available. The speed display is exclusively in kph.
The setting is done with a menu button. The but‑
ton has two functions, depending on how long it is
pressed:
short (approx. 1s): switching the display while dri‑
ving, changing a value in the setting mode, picto
in the diagram:
long (approx. 3s): zeroing the trip meter while dri‑
ving, jumping to the next menu item in the setting
mode, picto in the diagram:
