If water is still left in the freezer unit, press the ice tray back carefully so
that all the water flows back into the water tank.
To drain excess water, place the appliance with the front side on an edge
and place a bucket underneath, or place the appliance over a sink. Now
pull out the drain plug on the bottom of the appliance. Caution! Please
note: Once the plug is removed, water flows out of the water tank!
Remove the ice collector.
Clean the inside of the appliance using a soft cloth dipped in warm water
and vinegar. Then rinse it with clean water and allow it to dry completely.
Replace the drain plug in the correct position. Wash the ice collector in
warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry it afterwards.
Clean the outside of the appliance with a soft, slightly moist cloth. Use a
mild dish washing detergent if necessary.
NOTE: Do not use any organic solvents, boiling water, cleaning agents, strong
acids and bases, etc., for cleaning.
Please empty the water tank and dry it for storage if the ice maker is not
used for long durations.
