Using the hotplate.
Use the ladle provided to spread the pancake dough into the 6 indented
•
circles on the hotplate.
Use a wooden spatula or other heat-resistant plastic utensil to turn the
•
pancakes over. Do not use metallic utensils on this appliance. You may
damage the appliance's non-stick coating.
The hotplate can also be used to make fried eggs, pancakes, cook small
•
pieces of meat or any other food to grill.
Never cover the hotplates with aluminium foil and or place dishes, plates,
•
etc., on the cooking surfaces.
To preserve the non-stick coating on the hotplate, do not cut the food directly
•
on the hot plate. Do not use metal utensils (forks, knives, etc.). with the
appliance.
Cleaning and maintenance
When you have finished using the appliance, turn the on/off button and the
•
temperature control button to the 0 (off) position and unplug the appliance from
the mains power. LEAVE THE APPLIANCE COOL DOWN COMPLETELY
BEFORE CLEANING.
Never clean the appliance with abrasive detergents or scouring sponges.
•
Never immerse the appliance or power cord in water or any other liquid.
•
You can wipe the hotplate with a soft sponge moistened with hot soapy water.
•
Dry with a soft, clean cloth. Be careful not to let water get inside the unit.
Wash the spatula and ladle with a soft sponge and hot soapy water. Rinse
•
with clean water and dry thoroughly using a soft cloth. Do not leave the
wooden utensils to soak.
Do not put any of the parts in the dishwasher.
