4. INITIAL OPERATION
4.1. Charging the product
This product has been designed so that power supply to the side-mounted units is provided by the main unit
via magnetic contacts.
Charge the main unit using the supplied Micro USB cable. You will need a 230 V charging adapter with at least
1 A output power.
The battery is supplied partially precharged, and should be fully charged before being used for the first time.
The charging time is approx. 6 – 6 1/2 hours.
During the charging process, the status LED (next to the USB port) flashes quickly, and once the battery is fully
charged, it lights up constantly.
NOTE
To ensure maximum flexibility, the side-mounted units can also be charged directly via Micro USB.
4.2. Emergency power bank function
A further feature of the product is the additional charging function via the USB port. This can be used to charge
mobile devices such as smartphones (max. 1 A).
Both functions (lighting and charging) can be used simultaneously.
NOTE
The charging function is only an emergency function, using it leads to accelerated battery discharge. Therefore,
the maximum lighting duration of the product is reduced.
5. FUNCTIONS
NOTE
The side-mounted units can be interchanged. The Bluetooth
back as well as on the side of the lamp.
5.1. Main unit
Switch on the light of the main unit by pressing the knob on the front panel for approx. 2 seconds.
You can then adjust the brightness as you wish (5% - 100%) using the rotary knob. To switch the light off, press
the knob again for about 2 seconds.
5.2. Lateral lighting units
The side-mounted lights have several lighting modes. To switch the light on, press the button on the front for
approx. 2 seconds. You can then change the lighting modes using this same button. To switch the light off, press
the button again for 2 seconds.
5.3. Bluetooth

The product also has a Bluetooth
power switch on the front of the product for 2-3 seconds.
During powering on, a melody will be played and the speaker will start in pairing mode.
In the Bluetooth settings of your smartphone or tablet, search the model name: "CALED100" and connect to

it. If the connection is successfully established, a signal tone sounds again.
During music playback, you can also stop / resume playback using the on/off switch.
