Safety instructions
It is preferable to install the pro-line FK spill sumps indoors. If the pro-line FK spill
sumps are installed outdoors, they must be protected from the effects of wind,
precipitation and UV.
The following media may be stored on the pro-line FK spill sumps:
Water-polluting substances in all water-polluting classes with a flashpoint
> 100 °C.
Media from DIBt media list 40-1.1 with a reduction ratio A2 ˂ 1.1
Liquids which are classified in the following substance groups:
Aqueous solutions of organic acids up to 10 %
Mineral acids up to 20 %
Hydrolysed salts in an aqueous solution (pH < 6) apart from hydrofluoric acid and
oxidising acids and salts
Inorganic alkalis as well as alkali hydrolysing salts in aqueous solution (pH > 8),
except for ammonia solutions and oxidising solutions of salts (e.g. hypochlorite)
Solutions of inorganic non-oxidising salts with a pH value between 6 and 8
Misuse
DENIOS takes no responsibility for any damage caused by contravention of the intended
use. All warranties and guarantees are excluded in the event of misuse. The party
causing the misuse is solely responsible for any consequential damage.
The following are considered as not in accordance with the intended use:
Storing hazardous substances to which the material of the spill sump is not
resistant
Use of the spill sump for purposes other than those specified in section "2.1
