Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the
appliance malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner. Return
appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination,
repair or adjustment.
Do not attempt to examine or repair this product yourself. Only
qualified service personnel should perform any servicing; take the
product to the appliance repair shop of your choice for inspection and
repair.
Do not put any stress on the power cord where it connects to the
product, as the power cord could fray and break.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:
a. Turn spout away from you while it is warming, it will release hot steam
and scalding may occur.
b. Do NOT fill the kettle while it's positioned on Base. Wipe off any excess
water on the bottom of the kettle before placing it on the base.
c. To prolong the life of the Kettle do not refill it right way after use. Wait
for the Kettle to cool down before refilling.
d. A short power-supply cord (or detachable power-supply cord) is to be
provided to reduce risks resulting from becoming entangled in or
tripping over a longer cord.
e. Longer detachable power-supply cords or extension cords are available
and may be used if care is exercised in their use.
f.
If a long detachable power-supply cord extension cord is used:
The marked electrical rating of the detachable power-supply
cord or extension cord should be at least as great as the
electrical rating of the appliance.
If the appliance is of the grounded type, the extension cord
should be grounding type 3-wire cord.
The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over
the counter top or table top where it can be pulled on by
children or tripped over.
