TROUBLESHOOTING

Good maintenance extends the life of the machine. Regular or prolonged use may require more intensive maintenance
so that the machine continues to function properly. The table includes some of the most common problems, their
causes and solutions.

Service.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
SOLUTION
Make sure that the bombe is sufficiently submerged in the
water and that the water can be pumped.
Make sure that the pump inlet is submerged and that the
water pump is not clogged. Make sure the inlet is not buried
in mud, etc. Make sure that the hose outlet is not twisted or
clogged. Replace damaged hoses. If the turbine is clogged,
have the pump checked and repaired.
Make sure the voltage available for the pump meets the
requirements. To calibrate the pump, the diameter of the wire
cable should be sufficient for the requirements of the length
of the cable and the power of the pump. Check for faulty
electrical connections, defective cables, switches and short
circuits, and rectify.
Have the pump inspected and repaired.
Make sure that the pump inlet is not blocked – clean any
visible dirt and debris from the opening. Make sure that
the hose outlet is not twisted or clogged. Replace damaged
hoses. If the turbine is blocked, have the pump checked and
repaired.
