Personal safety
a)
The product is not intended to be used by individuals (including children) with
reduced mental, sensory or intellectual capacity or lack of experience and/or
knowledge, unless they are supervised by an individual responsible for their
safety or have been given instructions by the responsible individual on how to
operate the product.
b)
To prevent accidental start-up, make sure the switch is in the off position
before connecting to a power source.
c)
The product is not a toy. Children should be watched to ensure that they do
not play with the product.
d)
Do not place your hands or any objects inside the running device!

Safe use of the device
a) Do not use the device if the ON/OFF switch does not function properly (does
not turn on and off). Units that cannot be controlled by the switch are unsafe,
cannot operate, and must be repaired.
b) Disconnect the device from the power supply before adjusting, cleaning, or
servicing. This precaution reduces the risk of accidental start-up.

Keep unused product out of the reach of children and anyone unfamiliar with
the device or this manual.
d) Keep the product out of the reach of children.
e) Repairs and maintenance should be carried out by qualified personnel using
only original spare parts. This will ensure the safety of use.

Do not leave the device switched on unattended.
g) Clean the device regularly to prevent permanent dirt build-up.
h) Do not process two workpieces at the same time.

Do not tamper with the device to alter its performance or design.
j)
Keep the unit away from sources of fire and heat.
k) Ceramic knives should not be polished.

Clean and dry the knife before sharpening.
m) Do not use excessive force when working with the device. A steady pace and
force must be maintained.
n) It is forbidden to use the device for sharpening scissors, axes and other objects
the blade of which does not fit in the sharpener.
