b) Check that measures taken are within admit-
ted limits as shown on the following table:
The load chain must not be repaired.
When any of the above circunstances occur, or
when you wish to increase the lifting height of
the chain hoist, the whole chain must be substi-
tuted, following instructions on the next page.
The whole chain must be examined link by link.
The chain must be rejected when a link, or va-
rious links, show any of the following characte-
ristics:
a) cracks
b) dents or important grooves
c) Visible deformations
d) Severe corrosion
e) Deposit that can not be eliminated
f) Increase of the length of the chain measure,
or wear of links in articulation area, wich go be-
yond the limits indicated by the manufacturer.
