ILLUSTRATIONS FOR FAN INSTALLATION
1. Calculate and mark the centre of
the mounting bracket. Thread the
lead wires through the mounting
bracket hole. Secure the mounting
bracket to the ceiling joist using the
flat washers, the lock washers and
the wood screws.
4. Mount the switch cover to the
support using the three set screws
(IMPORTANT: make sure the set
screws fit properly into their holes).
7. Connect the infrared receiver to
the base inside the remote control
receiver.
9. If the fan is to be installed in a
covered p orch, make sure the
infrared receiver is in the shade,
away from rays of sunlight. When
placing the canopy, ensure the
receiver is easily within the range of
the remote control. There may be
some positions in which the receiver
does not work if it is too concealed.
2. Mount the blades by fitting their holes
into the hooks. Secure the blades with the
three set screws.
5. Lift the fan and slide the nylon ball until
it covers the base. Make sure the base
hook fits properly into the ball slot.
8. Put the canopy into place, covering the
mounting bracket (making sure no wires
are caught). Adjust the fastening holes.
10. Put a halogen bulb into the lamp
holder. Switch the electricity on and check
if the fan and lamp work properly.
3. Connect the male and female
pins correctly.
6. Mount the remote control
receiver on the base as in the
illustration. Connect the wires in
accordance
with
the
instructions on page 4 (go to this
page first and after doing the
connection, return to this one).
11. Finally, mount the lampshade to
the switch cover by turning the
lampshade clockwise.
