OPERATION
WARNING
Verify the area around the battery is well ventilated when charging.
You can spread the gas away from the area, blowing it away using a
piece of carboard or any nonmetallic material as a fan.
OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE CHARGER AND THE BATTERY
To assure the correct use of the charger and the battery, and the
machine will not be damaged, follow these instructions.
1. Operation instructions for the battery to be charged.
2. When the battery has low charge, usually, the voltage of the terminal
is normal. The Physics phenomena of low energy is the gravity
change in the battery solution. It usually is 1.28 kg/L . If lower than
1.16 kg/L, it means the battery needs charging.
3. The battery voltage leaves the normal value when is charged or is
not charged. It is higher when charging and lower when it
discharges. If after half an hour voltage is not returning to the
normal value, it means the battery is malfunctioning.
4. This is a manual charger and it is not provided with a full charge
indicator, the ammeter indicates the current that the charger
supplies to the battery and the intensity depending on the state of
charge of the battery.
It is not recommended to use the ammeter reading to determine if
the battery has been fully charged.
To determine the battery charge level, the voltage at its terminals
should be measured frequently with a voltmeter, when the voltage
measurement is at the nominal level, the battery will be charged.
START METHOD:
The use of the start function shall comply with the
CAUTION
product work cycle.
1. Read carefully the motor instructions.
2. Charge the battery during 10 to 15 minutes.

is not connected to the chassis and the other one to the terminal
connecting the chassis.
Check the connection once again: If there is no problem, set the
charger switch in the start position and turn ON the battery charger.
The work cycle to start a motor is 10 seconds
CAUTION
ON and 180 seconds OFF.
