With the Aqua Medic micro heater, you can quickly and safely temper the water in small aquaria. The heater
has a built-in temperature control with an adjustable setpoint. A 5 V, min. 2.4 A, USB power pack is required
for the micro heater (not included in delivery).
1. Safety informations
Do not touch the USB power pack (not included in delivery) with wet hands.
Before any maintenance work at the heater or the aquarium, remove the power plug and unplug or
switch off all appliance in the aquarium.
For indoor use only.

The power cable cannot be replaced. If the cable or plug is damaged, the unit should be
scrapped.

The unit may only be used submerged in water.

The controller integrated into the cable must not be immersed in water.

Setting range: +18 °C to +34 °C (in 0.5 ° increments).

Protect the USB connector and controller from moisture, condensation and splashing water.

Do not continue to operate the heater with a corroded plug.

For aquaria up to: 10 l
Recommended value for aquaria in heated rooms with a set temperature of around 25 °C.
2. Operation
After unpacking, the unit has to be checked for damages. It can then be mounted, preferrably vertically, inside
the aquarium or filter chamber in a well circulated area. The unit is connected to a Schuko socket with a standard
USB power pack (5 V, at least 2.4 A; not included in delivery). The USB connector and the power pack must be
protected from moisture, condensation and splashing water. Corroded connectors are not covered under
warranty.
The micro heater is equipped with overheating and dry-running protection, but it should not be used regularly
out of the water, as this would lead to permanent damage. Holding the button on the controller while inserting
the heater's USB connector into the USB power adapter, the unit will switch from degrees Celsius to Fahrenheit
(higher value) or vice versa.

If the dot above the temperature display lights up green, the setpoint has been reached, if it is red, the
temperature is below the setpoint.
