3. safety instructions
Please read all information before operating the pump and save the manual for future reference.
WARNING!
The pump must not be installed in swimming pools, but must be installed and used in accordance with local
regulations for electrical installation. Ask your electrician specialist.
ATTENTION!
• Do not expose the outlet to moisture.
• Do not transport aggressive liquid (petrol, grease, salt wa-
ter, etc.).
• Do not expose the pump to low temperatures.
• Do not run the pump without water.
• Keep children away from the work area.
• Never use the pump by the cord. Do not pull the cable to
disconnect the pump, it may cause damage to the power ca-
ble and the water seal. To submerge or lift/secure the pump,
attach a rope to the pump carrying handle.
• This equipment is not intended for use by persons (inclu-
ding children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental ca-
pabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning its
use by a person responsible for their safety.
ATTENTION!
• This equipment may only be used in accordance with the requirements listed below:
- This appliance is intended for use in the home and private
hobby gardens and may not be used commercially.
- This appliance is not designed for continuous use. Please
let the appliance rest for 10 minutes after every 1 hour of
operation.
- Never start the water pump before immersing the appliance
in water.
• Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not
play with the appliance.
• The pump must be supplied through a residual current de-
vice (RCD) with a residual operating current not exceeding
30mA.
• That the supply voltage matches the voltage indicated on
the pump's nameplate (230V-50Hz).
WARNING!
If the power cord is damaged, it must be re-
placed by the manufacturer, its service agent or quali-
fied personnel in order to avoid a hazard.
- This pump is designed for clean water with a diame-
ter of impurities in suspension of a maximum of 5mm.
Larger impurities could damage the pump or block the
pipes.
- Never use the pump when there are people in the water.
- This appliance must not be used for drinking water. Fluid
contamination can occur due to leaking lubricants.
