IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
The safety of electrical appliances from FIRST
Austria complies with the recognized technical
directives and legal regulations for safety.
Nevertheless, you and the other users of the
appliance should observe the following:
• Please read these instructions carefully before
using this appliance for the first time and
keep them for further reference.
• This product has not been designed for
any other uses than those specified in this
manual.
• Before connecting the appliance to the
power source, check if the voltage indicated
on the appliance corresponds with the
mains voltage in your home. If this is not the
case, contact your dealer and do not use the
appliance.
• If the appliance is grounded (protection class
I), the wall outlet and any extension to which
it is connected must also be grounded.
• Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a
table or counter. Do not let the cord touch
hot surfaces.
• To protect from electrical hazard, do not
immerse this appliance or cordset in any
liquids.
• If the appliance or the power cord shows
any signs of damage, do not operate it! Take
the product to an authorized and qualified
service center for inspection or repair.
• The use of attachments not recommended
or sold by the manufacturer may cause fire,
electric shock or injury.
• This device is intended for home use only, do
not use it commercially.
• Do not use this appliance outdoors.
• Do not touch any moving parts while the
appliance is operating.
• Always disconnect the appliance from power
after use, before cleaning and in the event of
a malfunction.
• Do not pull directly on the power cord, rather
pull on the plug to disconnect the appliance
from the power source.
• Be careful when handling sharp blades.
• The appliance can be used by children
aged from 8 years and above and persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of
the appliance in a safe way and understand
the hazards involved. Children shall not
play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children
unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach
of children less than 8 years.
• We are excluded of liability for all damages
that may arise if the appliance is used for
purposes other than originally intended or if
it is used inappropriately.
• Repairs and other work undertaken on
the unit must only be done by authorised
specialist personnel!
DESCRIPTION:

1. Operation Buttons (I=low / II=fast)

7. Non-slip rubber ring
BEFORE FIRST USE
Remove any packaging material and clean
the bowl and lid according to the chapter
"CLEANING & MAINTENANCE".
OPERATION
1. Attach the non-slip rubber ring to the bottom
of the bowl.
2. Place the bowl on a dry, flat and stable
surface.
3. Assemble the main blade and secondary
blade. Lock them both together by turning
them counterclockwise.
4. Place the blade assembly on the shaft at the
bottom of the bowl.
5. Fill the ingredients into the bowl. We
recommend to cut large ingredients in max.
2 x 2 cm pieces. For best results, use no more
than half of the available space in the bowl.
6. Close the lid properly.
7. Align and place the motor unit on the center
of the lid. There is a safety switch in the base
of the motor unit that prevents the unit from
operating when it is not placed correctly on
the lid.
8. Connect the power cord to a power outlet.
9. Press the trigger button to start chopping. (I
for slower or II for faster)
• For best results, operate the chopper in
short pulses.
• Do not run the motor for more than 20
seconds at a time. After 20 seconds of
continuous operation, allow the motor to
cool down to room temperature.

• It may be necessary to stop the machine and
scrape the food off the bowl wall to chop
everything evenly.
10. After use, unplug the appliance and clean the
parts.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
• Always unplug the appliance from power
before cleaning.
• Never immerse the motor unit or power cord
in water.
• Do not let the electrical parts come into
contact with moisture.
• Wash the bowl, lid and blades with a
combination of mild detergent and warm
water, then wipe it dry. Be careful when
handling the blades.
• To clean the lid sealing ring, carefully remove
it and wash it with warm soapy water. Dry it
before reinserting it. Do not operate the unit
without the sealing ring.
• Wipe the motor unit and the non-slip rubber
ring with a soft damp cloth.
Note: Some foods may discolor the plastic parts,
but this will not harm the plastic or affect the
taste of your food.
