1. LAMP OPERATION
A. Screw the battery onto the lamp: When the battery is screwed on tightly, the LEDs
will light up one by one.
B. Insert the strap into the holder: The foam on the holder should be in contact with
your forehead.
C. Slide the lamp into the holder.
D. Tilt the lamp in the holder around its cylindrical part.
E. Unlock the safety catch: after unlocking the catch, you can access the lighting
modes by pressing the paddle. The lamp must be transported or stored with the
safety catch on.
F. Fix the lamp on different hooks. Find examples of hooks and our accessories
here.
G. Accessing the different modes: Go to the next level (more powerful) and
back to the previous level (less powerful) with one click. Classic mode: this
diagram indicates the different power levels in lumens, the respective
autonomies in hours and the approximate ranges in meters. Hidden mode: accessible
after a long press when the lamp is switched off. This diagram indicates the
different weak levels (steady white, steady red and flashing red). WARNINGS:
Lamp classified as risk 2 according to IEC 62471. This is a moderate risk. However,
the optical radiation emitted by the lamp can be dangerous.
H. Light control: The electronics continuously measure the battery charge level. In
any mode, when it reaches 10% of battery, the light intensity is no longer regulated
and slowly decreases until it reaches a few lumens. Once the minimum battery
threshold is reached, the lamp flashes before switching off. You can then switch
to survival mode manually by turning it back on by accessing the hidden mode.
2. BATTERY INFORMATION
Only use STOOTS EasyLock 18 batteries. Be sure to grease the battery O-ring (shown
here in blue) with silicone grease as soon as removal becomes difficult. The seal can
be changed if it is damaged.
