 Connecting the drain hose to the
indoor unit side

Insert the drain hose provided with the indoor
unit into the drain pipe connection aperture of the
indoor unit drain pan and the drain pipe
connection aperture of the drain pump kit drain
pan.
When doing this, insert the drain hose until end
of the drain pipe connection port.

Securely tighten the 2 hose band provided with
the indoor unit so they are from 10 to 15 mm from
the end of the pipe connection port.

Cut the heat insulator for the drain hose provided
with the indoor unit (from 190 × 190 to 160 × 190),
and then wrap it around the connection of the drain
pan and the drain hose so there are no gaps, then
use 2 banding band provided with the indoor unit to
tighten the heat insulator so it does not come open.

Fit the attached hose band to the end of the hose, with both of
the two knobs oriented sideways.
Wrap to cover the connection of the drain
hose and drain pan.

* Do not tighten the banding band so much that the
insulation is compressed.

* Depending on how the water drains, you may work on the
indoor unit as it hangs.

other end at the
upper side.

* If the installation is less than 150 mm from the top of the
indoor unit, do not use an elbow, bend the drain hose
provided and connect to it directly (the radius of the bend
should be as large as possible).

Insert the drain hose provided with the indoor
unit into the drain pipe connection port on the top
of the drain pump kit.
Securely tighten the hose band provided with the
drain pump kit at the edge near the end of the
drain hose.
Turn the hose band so they are easy to tighten
and then use a flathead screwdriver to tighten
them.
Wrap the heat insulation for the drain connection
provided with the drain pump kit so it completely
covers the drain hose and butts against the top
plate of the drain pump kit.
Insert the locally procured hard vinyl chloride
pipe (VP25) into the drain hose, tighten a hose
band around the edge near the end of the drain
hose, and wrap the heat insulation for the drain
connection so the hose band are completely
covered and hidden.
Wrap the heat insulated piping provided with the
drain pump kit so it butts against the top plate of
the drain pump kit so everything is covered.
