7. End of life warning: the product needs to be
changed, a warning will appear that the product
cannot be used any more.
Note: it will sound 3 beeps at quick intervals,
then it can be replaced with a new one
8. Alarm warning: The response time of
this detector complies with EN 50291. It
will perform 3 cycles with an interval of 10
seconds between each cycle. The alarm will
end automatically in 6 minutes when the CO
disappears.
9. Alarm silence: when the detector is in alarm
warning and the CO concentration is less
than 200PPM, you need to press and hold the
'TEST' button. The alarm indicator will keep
flashing and last for less than 10 seconds.
To return to the alarm warning mode, simply
press the 'TEST' button again.
MAINTENANCE
The following gases can cause false alarms or
damage the sensor: methane, propane, isobu-
tane, ethylene, ethanol, alcohol, isopropanol,
benzene, toluene, ethyl acetate, hydrogen,
and sulfur dioxide. Also alcoholic sprays,
paint, thinners, solvents, hairspray, shaving
lotion, perfume, car fumes, some cleaning
detergents.
Note: if the product is contaminated by other
gases, place the unit off in a clean air area for
24 hours, if it does not work after that time, it
should not be used any more.
Tips:
1. Do not spray chemical sprays, such as air
fresheners, hairsprays, perfumes, insecticides
or paint near the alarm.
2. Do not paint the alarm.
3. Do not block or cover the ventilation hole
of the alarm.
4. If the detector falls on the ground, please
check if the battery is well fixed. Then make
sure it is installed correctly by pressing the
'TEST' button to see if the settings work
correctly.
5. If any component is disassembled without
permission or changed, it may cause false
alarm or malfunction
CLEANING
It should be cleaned once a month.
Steps:
1. Remove the dust with a vacuum cleaner.
2. Rub the surface with a soft, damp cloth,
well wrung out.
3. Press the test button and make sure it
works properly, reinstall it to use.
Note: Do not clean with chemicals such as
alcohol, gasoline, cleaners, etc., this may
damage the sensor.
FAULTS
Take the appliance to an authorised tecnhical
support service if problems arise. Do not try to
dismantle or repair withut assistance, as this
may be dangerous. If the connection to the
mains has been damaged, it must be replaced
and you should proceed as you would in case
of damage.

experience and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
