Trimming
Comb attachments should not be used
when trimming the sides, the back of the
neck or the area around the ears.
Set the blade control to close cutting.
Comb the hair into the desired style.
Hold the hair clipper between the person's
ear and sideburns, with the blades close to
the hairline. Move the hair clipper along the
hairline over and behind the ear.
At the back of the neck and sides, you
should hold the hair clipper with the blades
down and position it on the required
hairline. Now carefully push the hair clipper
down along the skin.
Blade control
The hair clipper is equipped with a blade
control (3) so it can be set to various
cutting lengths without using the comb
attachments. In the uppermost position,
the blade control provides close cutting,
which can be gradually increased when
you turn the blade regulator towards the
bottom position. Here the cutting length is
approximately the same as when using the
smallest comb attachment.
By tilting the blade control, you can also
remove any hair between the blades.

Maintenance
The blades should be cleaned using the
accompanying brush (8) after each use.
If the blades are not aligned with each
other, adjust them. Loosen the two screws.
Adjust the blades so that the teeth are at
the same height and tighten the screws
again.
If the hair clipper starts cutting badly, you
should change the blades.
