Remove the packaging from the appliance.

Clean the appliance with a damp cloth.

Press the lid button

Place the appliance on a stable, flat, and heat and moisture resistant surface.

Fill the inner pot
with rice:

– For white rice, fill the inner pot with a maximum of 720 ml rice (4 cups).
– For brown rice, fill the inner pot with a maximum of 540 ml rice (3 cups).

Fill the inner pot
with water to the CUP indicator corresponding to the amount of rice.

Plug the power cable into a power outlet.

Switch the power switch
to switch on the appliance. The Cooking indicator light

The cooking process starts.
When the cooking process is finished, the appliance enters the Keep Warm mode. The Warm indicator
light lights up. The appliance remains in Keep warm mode until it is unplugged.
Caution! The appliance starts heating up imediately. When the appliance is switched on, only touch

the power switch and the handle.

Let the rice stand for 5 – 10. Do not open the lid.

Always unplug the appliance when not in use.

We recommend cleaning the appliance after use. To clean the appliance:
1.
Switch off and unplug the appliance.
2.
Let the appliance cool down.
3.
Empty the condensation reservoir in a sink.
4.
Rinse the following parts with hot water and dry thoroughly:
– Inner pot

– Measuring cup

– Rice scoop
w
– Condensed water tank

Clean the appliance with a damp cloth.
To clean the underside of the lid (see image B):

Gently pull the inner lid outward to detach the inner lid from the shaft.
7.
Soak the inner lid in warm water.
8.
Wipe the underside of the inner lid with a warm, damp cloth.
9.
Dry the inner lid with a soft, dry cloth.
10. Slide and press the inner lid over the shaft to place back the inner lid. The small side of the inner lid
seal should face you with the outer lid open. Make sure the outer lid can close properly.
To clean the heating plate (see image B):
11. Wipe the heating plate with a warm, damp cloth.
12. Dry the heating plate with a soft, dry cloth.
13. Repeat steps 11. through 12. until the heating plate is clean.
To store the appliance:
14. Store the appliance in the original packaging in a dry and enclosed space.
