Smaller sinks/cooktops may be used and the cutout size made smaller with the use of fillers, sold separately in 3" and 6"
width sizes.
Trim with precision to avoid cutting too large a space, or leave some measurement of tolerance and plan on making an
additional, or final trim, after fit checking (see further down). Always have the sink/appliance on hand before making any
alterations.
When trimming is needed:
Make cutout opening alterations prior to installing cabinet, including those needed for plumbing/electrical, in the back and
floor of the cabinet.
Note that when trimming, it will be easier to trim the inner 2" stile insert on each side, by removing them first. These are
held in place with 2 screws

CAUTION! With material removed, when trimmed stiles are re-installed, check to make sure
screws are not too large or long, ensuring they DO NOT protrude to the outside of the cabinet.
For trimming white vinyl finish cabinets, it is crucial that a very sharp blade is used to avoid
damaging the edges of the vinyl.
All alterations should be done to your cabinet, and the size of your sink/appliance tested, prior
to anchoring cabinet to the wall/floor, and to adjoining cabinets.
Build a support structure:
Sinks/cooktops usually require further support bracing. See the sink/appliance manufactur-
er's recommendations.

Ten en cuenta que al recortar, será más fácil recortar el inserto de
montante interior de 5.08 cm en cada lado, retirándolos primero.
Estos se mantienen en su lugar con 2 tornillos.
¡CUIDADO! Con el material retirado, cuando se vuelvan a instalar
los montantes recortados, verifica que los tornillos no sean de-
masiado grandes o largos, asegurándote de que NO sobresalgan
hacia el exterior del gabinete.
Para recortar gabinetes con acabado en vinilo blanco es esencial
usar una cuchilla filosa al efecto de evitar que los bordes del vinilo
se dañen.
Todas las modificaciones al gabinete —y cualquier comprobación
de tamaño del fregadero/electrodoméstico— deben realizarse
