3.2. PREPARING FOR USE
APPLIANCE LOCATION
The temperature of environment must not exceed -20 – 60°C
and the relative humidity should be less than 95%. Keep the
device away from any hot surfaces. The device should always
be used when positioned out of the reach of children and
persons with limited mental and sensory functions. Position
the device such that you always have access to the power
plug. The power cord connected to the appliance must be
properly grounded and correspond to the technical details
on the product label.
ASSEMBLING THE APPLIANCE
Loosen the heating tip locking knobs (3), then insert the
tip appropriately selected for a given task (10-15) into the
mounting holes (4) and, finally, tighten the locking knobs
again. Having made sure that the given heating tip is firmly
attached to the device, connect it to the power supply (the
device fan will start to work).
Remove the tip in reverse order.
10
PLEASE NOTE: never install a hot tip! Leave the device
connected to the power socket (the fan is running) until
the fan stops working, i.e. the device has completely cooled
down (about 5 minutes). Only then disconnect it from the
power supply.
Using the device with generator or inverter power supply:
Some generators, especially those with a capacity of 4kW
or less, are unstable and can produce
instantaneous
overvoltage (260V), which may damage the device.
8
When working with an inverter, DC/DC converter, make sure
that they are 3kW or more powerful sine wave inverters.
3.3. DEVICE USE
3.3.1 PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION
The device works on the principle of electromagnetic
induction. The heating tip generates a high frequency
alternating magnetic field. This field passes through the
metal and a conductive surface (e.g., a seized nut) generates
a skin-like current which converts electrical energy into
thermal energy. Pressing the heating switch triggers and
closes the magnetic field.
3.3.2 HEATING
Place the heating tip on the element to be heated, then
press the heating switch (1), the LED backlight (2) will light
up, which means that heating has begun. After the element
is sufficiently heated, let go of the heating switch (1), the LED
backlight (2) will turn off and the device will stop heating,
but the built-in fan will continue to work, cooling the device.
Put the device in a safe, stable and fireproof place. Before
disconnecting the device (plug) from the power supply, wait
at least 5 minutes for the fan to cool down (to switch off).
PLEASE NOTE: never touch the heating tip with any part of
your body or bring it close to the body during or immediately
after heating – there is a risk of severe burns!
Heating with a heating coil
Heating coils (10-12) are intended for heating bolts, nuts,
clips, removing seals, seized door hinges, bolts in exhaust
manifolds, cargo holds and van or truck crates, lambda
probes, etc.
In order to extend the life of the heating coil, the element
should be heated to the extent allowing to dismantle it;
avoid overheating the element as temperature may lead
to burnout of the heating coil insulation. Usually, there is
no need to heat the element until it is red-hot, just a few
seconds of heating or a few-second trials will be enough as
a start. During heating, the coil should not touch the heated
element - keep a distance of approx. 3-4 mm between them.
Heating with a "U" shaped tip
The "U" heating tip (13) is universally applicable, moreover,
you can shape it, for example while repairing dents in metal.
To do this, form it like in the picture below:
Rev. 18.10.2022
(see pictures below) With the tip formed in this way, make
small, circular motions 12-25 mm above the dent, gradually
approaching the dent, but on the outside of the "crown" of
the dent. When the dent begins to get smaller, quickly move
the tip away from it, and immediately cool it by applying
a damp cloth. When a dent "sucks in", then the "crown" is
heated or the distance from the dent's crown is insufficient.
The dent removal procedure should be repeated until a
satisfactory result is obtained.

PLEASE NOTE: removing dents is a process which requires
subtlety and experience, as improper use can lead to more
serious damage to the treated surface: if smoke begins
to appear in the repaired area, bubbles will appear on
the paintwork. It should also be borne in mind that light-
coloured paint and varnish may turn yellow more rapidly
under the influence of excessive heating than dark paint
and varnish. Besides, not all dents can be removed using the
method described above.
Heating with the bearing tip
The bearing heating tip (14) can be used not only to free
bearings from axle housings, but also to free seized lambda
probes, pins or the ends of the steering rods.
To expand a given element in order to remove another
blocked element, one of the ends of the bearing heater
should be fixed in the device, then the heater should be
wrapped at least 3 times around the object to be heated
(the more coils, the faster it will heat up) and the other end
of the heater should be fixed in the device. Heat the element
until it comes loose. Loosen both tip fasteners and release
it from the device, then very carefully, remove the heated
element along with the tip wrapped around it, and remove
it only after it has cooled down completely.
Heating with a flat coil heating tip
This type of heating tip is suitable for removing stickers,
graphics, veneers, emblems, small strips as well as motorbike
decorative strips.
To remove any of the above, apply the heating tip to one
end of the element to be removed for a few seconds, just
so that you can get hold of it and peel it off. Repeat this
action gradually moving to the end of the element until it is
completely removed.

PLEASE NOTE: this process requires delicate approach and
experience, as improper handling may damage not only the
decoration, but also the varnish coating.

3.4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
a)
Allow the device to cool completely before each
cleaning, adjustment or replacement of accessories,
or if the device is not being used. Wait for the
rotating elements to stop.
b)
Use only non-corrosive cleaners to clean the surface
(it is recommended to use widely available, mild
cleaning agents for the vehicles interior).
c)
After cleaning the device, all parts should be dried
completely before using it again.
d)
Store the unit in a dry, cool place, free from moisture
and direct exposure to sunlight.
e)
Do not spray the device with a water jet or submerge
it in water.
f)
Do not allow water to get inside the device through
vents in the housing of the device.
g)
Clean the vents with a brush and compressed air.
h)
The device must be regularly inspected to check its
technical efficiency and spot any damage.
i)
Use a soft cloth for cleaning.
j)
Do not use sharp and/or metal objects for cleaning
(e.g. a wire brush or a metal spatula) because they
may damage the surface material of the appliance.
k)
Do not clean the device with an acidic substance, agents
of medical purposes, thinners, fuel, oils or other chemical
substances because it may damage the device.
