EN: Installation Sheet
Description
The DC106 series are flush mount magnetic contacts that can
be connected to a burglar alarm system. For differences in the
DC106 series see "Specifications" below.
Note:
The DC106 series cannot be used in ferromagnetic
doors.
Mounting
The magnetic contact and the magnet are to be mounted
directly across from each other. Select the desired mounting
positions and drill appropriate holes. Mount the magnet and the
contact in the holes and secure with screws trough flange
holes.
During installation the switching distances have to be
individually determined for each contact.
When the installation is completed, the electrical switch
function of the magnetic contact must be checked (e.g. with a
continuity checker or multimeter). Use of mechanical force, for
example when installing, can damage the glass body of the
reed switches.
Note:
When installing the contact please keep in mind that the
doors can bend under temperature influence.
