Setting drilling depth
To drill several holes to the same depth, use
the depth guide (2).
Loosen the support grip so that the depth
guide can be pulled back and forward in the
holder.
Get the tip of the depth guide to move with
the tip of the drill. Push the depth guide back
as far as the required hole depth.
Lock the depth guide securely in place by
retightening the support grip.
Selecting direction
Select direction (left or right) using the
switch (8).
Only change the drill direction when the
chuck is not moving!
Drill/hammer drill selection
The hammer drill function can only be used
when the switch is pushed to the right
(clockwise rotation for screwing or drilling).
Use the selector (3) to set the hammer drill to
hammer drilling or ordinary drilling.
Select hammer drilling for masonry, stone
and cement.
Select ordinary drilling for wood, metals,
marble, tiles, lime cement or man-made
materials and also for screwdriving.

Changing bits
Turn the two rings on the self-tightening drill
chuck towards one another to loosen the
chuck's jaws.
Insert the bit and tighten it by turning the
rings in opposite direction to before. Check
that the bit is in the centre of the chuck and
is secure.
Use
Fit a drill bit suited to the task.
Start by pressing the on/off button (7).
Stop the drill by releasing the on/off button.
It will take a little while for the chuck to come
to a complete stop.
Continuous operation
You can set the hammer drill to continuous
operation by pressing the lock button (5),
while at the same time keeping the on/off
button depressed. You can then release
both buttons and the hammer drill will keep
running continuously. To stop the hammer
drill, press and release the on/off button to
release the locking button.
