WARNING - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE USING T HE EQUIPMENT:
Installation: any installation, maintenance and/or modification of the system must be carried out by qualified personnel. There could be special technical
norms to be respected. Warning: this device is for indoor use only.
Electrical connections: any electrical connection must be carried out in a perfect way, all wires must be fixed and banded in order to avoid accidental
detachment. Properly close the housings of the devices. Disconnect all electrical connections exceeding 25V before opening the housing of any working
device.
Power supply: where provided 12-24V DC, use security supply units protected by fuse. Where provided 230V AC 50 Hz, connect by means of a security
switch or extractable plug.
Responsibility: the manufacturer is not responsible for any consequence of improper installation and/or maintenance, improper and/or missed use of the

MULTIFUNCTIONAL RADIO RECEIVER:
RX 1 TOP is a radio receiver powered at 12V DC which receives incoming codes from SILENTRON transmitting units through self-
learning. It may work in different ways: monostable, bistable or mixed, according to the type of transmitting unit used. The working
mode is automatically defined during programming.
RX 1 TOP may memorize up to 16 different transmitting units. 3 Leds - red, yellow and green – indicate the various functions.
A USE AS A RADIO ALARM RECEIVER:
Exclusively programmed with alarm detectors such as SENSOR and PIR (16 max.), RX 1 TOP operates as an alarm receiver with
tamper protection. Receipt of a tamper alarm or intrusion alarm will provoke temporary opening of relays A (tamper) and B (alarm) for
2sec. The tamper protection of the housing is ON when JP is open.

RX 1 TOP programmed with a SILENT control panel (5000 - 5001 - 5003) works as a receiver of the panel status, and in this case
can not be programmed with other transmitting units. Leds and relays operate as follows:
•
panel armed: yellow led lights up - the contact of relay A is open
•
panel disarmed: yellow led is out - the contact of relay A is closed
•
panel in alarm: red led lights up - contact of relay B open for 3min. When the panel will be disarmed the alarm stops (led out and
contact B closed).
USE AS A BISTABLE KEY TO YOUR PANEL (JP shunt closed):

Exclusively programmed with remote controls and keypads, RX 1 (JP shunt closed) will switch on/off your panel (contact of relay B will
open in ON, and close in OFF), and relay A will confirm the operation through differed opening of contact relay A: one pulse when panel
is switched OFF, three pulses when panel is switched ON.
USE AS A MINI CONTROL PANEL (JP shunt closed):

In case of programming with both remote controls/keypads and detectors, RX 1 TOP will become a small control panel; it can be armed
and disarmed with both remote controls and keypads, getting confirmation from the pulses of relay A (1 or 3) and the yellow led. When
armed, SENSOR and PIR detectors may provoke alarms indicated from the red led and carried out by a 3 min. temporary opening of
relay B.
TECHNICAL FEATURES:
POWER SUPPLY: 10-14V DC - 5mA max. in stand by with relays in off.
TYPE OF CODING: by self-learning with functional addresses.
TAMPER: tamper switch against opening of housing in serial on relay A. It may be excluded via JP shunt.
DIMENSIONS AND WEIGHT: 65 x 45 x 20mm. - white ABS - weight 50gr.
PROGRAMMING OF THE TRANSMITTING UNITS:
a) power the RX 1 keeping pressed the RESET button (cancellation) - when RESET is released the yellow led will flash
b) programme either the transmitters or the control panel - the yellow led will light up for 2sec. to confirm
c) for terminating press RESET to exit programming. If 16 transmitters or a control panel are programmed, exit from programming will
occur automatically.
TO ADD OTHER TRANSMITTERS: press RESET – the yellow led will flash - programme other transmitters then exit by pressing
RESET.
SPECIAL FUNCTIONS OF SENSOR TOP CONTACTS: if these are programmed on RX 1 TOP with dip-switch 3 in ON position,
contact of relay B will remain open until the corresponding door protected by SENSOR is open. This function may be used for general
purposes.
A tamper-signal will provoke opening of relay contact A for 2sec.

Press both the red and green keys together for 2sec.
Turn mechanic key on control panel from TEST to u or vice versa, or arm/disarm the panel.
Insert the battery.
