13. Mounting the storage insulation
Before installing the insulation, take the nameplate
out of the envelope from the container and keep in
a safe place. It will be attached to the outside of
the unit later.
General information before installation:
• Extras needed: Use the supplied rubber gloves to pre-
vent soiling the insulation. The supplied hoisting tool
can be used to ease closing and opening the insulation.
• We recommend first adjusting the insulation at the
front and closing it when there is sufficient clearance
at the side and rear. If this is not the case: First close
the insulation at the rear before positioning on the
storage tank. Attach the cover strip to prevent the fas-
tener from springing open unintentionally during installa-
tion.
Installation steps:
• Position both insulation halves on the container so that
the front fastening strips are to the centre of the flange
insulation (right figure).
• Use the fitted rubber rings for initial attachment of the
fastening strip.
• Lock the insulation with the metal clamps: position the
white side of the fastener before the black one; use the
hoisting tool if required (lower right figure).
• Install the cover strips on the clamps.
• Push through the red foot edge under the piping and con-
nect it so that it rests on all of the insulation.
• Place the two round insulation parts up on the storage
tank and install the red cover.
