Sanding Disc Selection
• Grains available vary from very coarse to very fine.
• Coarse grain is used to sand rough surfaces, medium grain,
for light work and fine grain is for smooth finish.
• It is advisable to carry out tests over a disposable piece to
determine the adequate grain for a particular job.
• Do not use the same disc for wood and for metal. Metal
particles can get embedded in the sanding and ill-treat a
wooden surface.
Installing a Sanding Disc

Always double check the sander is off and
disconnected from the power supply before installing the sandpaper.
• Select the right sanding grain.
• Remove dust and debris from the pad and it hook and loop base (A).

consumable and is not covered by the Warranty.
CAUTION
If premature wear of the hook and loop fastening is
occuring, it is possible that it is due to pressure being applied to the tool
during operation.
Dust Extraction
• Before connecting the tool to the power supply, adjust
the dust bag into the dust extraction duct in the rear or the
sander (D).
• To get an optimal dust extraction, remove and empty the
dust bag when is half-full.
• Use the dust bag when sanding wood.
WARNING

metal particles could ignite the residual wood dust or the
inner pouch.
• Make sure to regularly clean the dust accumulated in the
dust bag and the hook and loop base.
