Danger!
A damaged mains cable is extremely dangerous. Such a heating unit must not be used any more. Insert
mains plug only into a socket with an earthed conductor. You must not cancel out the protective effect
by using an extension cable without an earthed conductor.
Danger!
It is imperative that you pull mains plug out of the socket before cleaning. Risk of electric shock!
Electric Heating Unit for Chafing Dishes and Beverage Dispensers
The Spring electric heating unit can be used with all Spring chafing dishes and beverage dispensers. The electric
heating unit fits directly under the water pan, thus ensuring perfect heat transfer. The heat control (without a ther-
mostat) protects the chafing dish from overheating while saving energy.
Installation
1. Take the water pan out of the stand and turn it upside down. Insert the heating unit on the threaded studs (1).
2. Slide the heating unit until it reaches the stop of the elongated perforations (2). CAUTION: Never unplug the
unit by pulling on the electrical cord!
3. Tighten with the hand nuts (3). Please tighten the hand nuts only by hand!
